If you’re into light, fruity, and complex coffees, get ready to meet your new favorite: our small-batch Ethiopia Guji! I know, I know we have had coffees from this region before, but you guys... THIS ONE hits different. We keep going back to this area to source great-tasting coffee because we are obsessed with the intensely fruity flavor unique to this region. This go-around we pulled from a different washing station, and the coffee itself grew through an entirely different season, too! This small batch isn’t just any coffee; it’s the kind that lifts you off your feet and shines upon you with all the warmth of the season with its light and juicy flavor.

Origin: Ethiopia, Guji ( Sodu washing station)

Here’s the deal: Ethiopia is known as the birthplace of coffee, and when you taste this coffee, you’ll understand why. Grown at around 2000 masl in the Guji region, this coffee has been carefully cultivated by smallholder farmers who are masters of the craft. These farmers use traditional methods passed down through generations to grow coffee on small, high-altitude farms. The coffee is naturally processed, which means it’s sun-dried for 3-4 weeks—allowing those delicious fruity and floral notes to develop. This is what sets Ethiopia apart from other coffee-producing regions: the history, the care, and the land itself.
