Switters isn’t your average iced coffee company. We’re proud to be one of the only iced coffee microbreweries in the country (and certainly the only one in Nashville). But what does that mean, exactly? Let’s break it down.

Yep, our microbrewery operates just like your favorite local beer brewery, only we’re crafting premium, small-batch, ready-to-drink iced coffees instead of pints of pale ale.
We’ve taken everything you love about the craft beverage movement and applied it to the iced coffee world: thoughtful sourcing, small-batch brewing, intentional flavor profiles, and a whole lot of love and science. The result? A smoother, bolder, more flavorful iced coffee that’s clean, consistent, and ready to sip right out of the can or pouch.
Not Your Average Cold Brew Operation
Cold brew has had its moment, but flash-chilled coffee is where the flavor really shines. Instead of a one-note, mellow brew, our process captures the full range of the coffee’s natural flavors; bright acidity, deep sweetness, and everything in between. It’s a more dynamic, vibrant, and delicious iced coffee experience. And unlike most breweries or roasters entering the RTD (ready-to-drink) market as a side hustle, coffee is our main gig.
Each batch is crafted in-house using high-quality, specialty-grade coffee. From single origin releases to our most popular roasts and fun seasonal flavors, we take pride in brewing iced coffee that feels like a treat, without the need for additives, dairy, or sugar.
As a microbrewery, we have full control over our production process. We keep things clean and simple: no preservatives, no artificial flavors, no dairy or alternative milks, and no sugar. Just coffee, water, and (when the flavor calls for it) real ingredients like cinnamon sticks, whole vanilla beans, dried fruit, or cacao powder.
Because we ONLY produce coffee - and nothing else - there’s no risk of contamination from yeast, dairy, sugar, or other ingredients that are common in facilities producing alcoholic or fermented beverages. No funky batches, no weird aftertastes. Just clean, consistent coffee, every single time!

Your Local Craft Coffee Alternative
So yeah, we’re kind of sandwiched between two worlds. Part craft brewery, part specialty coffee shop.. but fully our own thing. Step into our space and you’ll see stainless steel tanks and production lines like your favorite local brewery, but the warm, roasty aroma in the air? That’s all coffee. We might not have a traditional brick-and-mortar storefront, but we’ve built something truly special. We bridge the creativity and flavor obsession of both beer and coffee culture into one seriously refreshing brew!
Unlike traditional coffee roasters or cafes, we specialize exclusively in iced coffee. Our production space is set up to brew hot, chill fast, and package with care. We don’t operate a retail storefront or taproom. Instead, our small-but-mighty team focuses all of our energy on brewing and packaging ready-to-drink iced coffees that are delivered locally or shipped straight to your door.
At Switters, we’re all about giving iced coffee the attention and care it deserves. We flash chill every batch of coffee we brew, a method similar to Japanese iced coffee, where we brew hot to capture all those rich, complex flavors, then rapidly chill to lock them in. Think of it as the cold version of “fresh out of the oven.”
We brew in small batches (no mass-produced sludge here), and we package our iced coffee in aluminum cans and 50oz pouches with spigots. Just like a brewery or winery might package beer or wine for convenient sipping. So yeah, our setup might look a lot like a traditional brewery on the inside… and honestly that’s kind of the point!

Why It Matters
The RTD coffee movement is booming. Consumers want great-tasting coffee that’s convenient, clean, and crafted with intention. While beer and kombucha breweries are jumping into the coffee scene, and many roasters are outsourcing to co-packers, Switters is one of the few microbreweries built entirely for flash-chilled coffee. (pats self on the back) It’s what we’ve always done and we’re only getting better at it!
We’ve brewed and packaged flash-chilled iced coffee since 2014, long before it was trending. Our team is made up of real humans who love what they do, and every can or pouch is brewed fresh in our Nashville facility, with zero shortcuts. It’s clean, it’s plant-based, and it’s absolutely packed with flavor.

Being a microbrewery means we get to keep things close-knit. We partner with Nashville’s local coffee roasteries to source some of our roasted beans and also businesses, restaurants, and grocery stores to stock their shelves and serve our brews. We also deliver for free to local customers and run an iced coffee subscription service that makes it easy to keep your fridge stocked with your favorites.
