Our seasonal iced coffee Supernova is a ready to drink iced coffee that takes you on a taste journey that's truly out of this world. Supernova is like a cosmic dance of tangy raspberries, velvety chocolate, and the smooth sweetness of vanilla, harmonizing in every sip. How in the world did we come up with this out of this world flavor combo? It came to us back in August of 2022, we gathered around Sheri's laptop and watched in awe as images appeared on livestream from the James Webb Telescope. We knew in that moment of inspiration we had to make an iced coffee that tastes like space!

What does space taste like?
     "In 2009, astronomers were able to identify a chemical called ethyl
      formate in a big dust cloud at the center of the Milky Way. Ethyl formate
      happens to be responsible for the flavor of raspberries (it also smells like
      rum). Space tastes like raspberries!"

Supernova is brewed using beans sourced from Finca Triunfo Verde, a farming co-op in Mexico known for its high-quality coffee beans. We take pride in using ethically-sourced beans that support local communities and promote sustainable farming practices. We love using these beans as a base for our seasonal flavors because the coffee naturally has a cocoa sweetness that we can build on easily. But it's not just the beans that make Supernova special. To add a burst of natural flavor, we include freeze-dried raspberries, cacao powder, and whole vanilla beans directly in the brew basket alongside the ground coffee. As the hot water extracts all these flavors, it creates a taste that's truly unique and unforgettable.

This is why we believe we have the best brewing method! Brewing coffee hot extracts the most flavor in coffee and so why not apply that to natural ingredients? Forget about syrups, artificial flavors, measuring cups and complicated recipes. We've ensured that Supernova is free from artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
